Gloucester Rowing Club is run, as before, by a committee consisting of 4 Officers (Chairman, Treasurer, Captain and Secretary) and 6 Committee Members. Additionally, the Club may appoint a President and Vice Presidents for a 3 year term.

President, Vice-President(s)
The President and Vice-Presidents act as figure heads and are people of note that the Club would wish to remain associated with. They do not have to be club members and are elected at a club AGM by ordinary resolution
Chairman
Coordination with GBL on strategic matters.
Represent the Club at British Rowing regional level.
Head up sponsorship and fundraising.
Monitor and evaluate club development.
Consider any complaints received.
Captain
Responsible for boats, squads, equipment, and the duties of the Vice Captains.
Responsible for appointing Vice Captains and managing club rowing.
Responsible for the arrangements to enter individuals and crews to represent the Club in any race.
Arranging travel / towing to events and training.
Recruitment and new rowers.
Responsible for appointing a Rowing Advisory Panel.
Coordination with GBL on day to day matters.
Reports to committee and AGM.
Treasurer
Accounts and annual audit.
CASC Authorising Official.
Maintain financial records and monitor trends.
Any investments the club makes.
Payments to creditors.
Liaise with Membership Secretary on membership payments.
Secretary
Co-ordinate and disseminate correspondence to committee and members.
Receive applications for membership and liaise with Membership Secretary to put proposals for membership before the committee for approval.
Preparation and distribution of AGM and committee meeting minutes.
Payment and renewal of insurances and licences.
Manage key-holders list.
Report to AGM on attendance at committee meetings.
Maintain club records and memorabilia
