Description

Original 7 August 2026, 4:10pm

A rowing event will be taking place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August 2026 on the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal. The event will be taking place from 8:00am until 6:00pm on both days.

This will take place between Bridge 21, Netheridge Swing Bridge to just past Bridge 22, Hempsted Road Swing Bridge.

The navigation will be open but subjected to restrictions whilst the events are happening. Please slow down and approach the area with caution and follow any instructions given by the event stewards and staff.

The visitor moorings between these bridges will be suspended from Friday 28th August 2026 until Sunday 30th August 2026.

This event is subject to water resources available closer the event date.
