Events Offered

Our aim is to enable as many people to compete in their preferred events as possible and we believe that by dividing the competition into 3 divisions and spreading the likely entries among those divisions, we might be able to achieve that - your good humour and efficiency will help considerabley!

We appreciate many competitors will want to enter a number of events, so we are offering combinations of events based on age groups, boat types and category across the different divisions:

• age group - from J12 to J18, and Masters of any age - we will group masters entries into logical clusters after entries close 

• gender - open, women and mixed

• boat type - 1x, 2x, 2-, 4x+, 4x-, 4+, 4-, 8+

Some categories are restricted to particular age groups - for instance coxed quads to younger categories and coxless to more experienced, for instance. Inevitably, some combinations won't take place due to lack of entries.

We have dropped Low CRI events and instead, if there are sufficient entries to warrant splitting an event into bands, we will do so

We have also added beginners 4x+ and 4+ events on Sunday only, which will be for the following entry types : 

Senior : Open, Women and Mixed
Masters : Open, Women and Mixed
Junior Open and Women, in J12/13 J14/15 and J16-18
(I am assuming there will not be a huge number of entries, but if I am wrong and need to split the age bands I can)
