There will be a meeting of all club coaches (both qualified and those being assessed) in the club house on Sunday, 9th January. Unfortunately due to the strong gusting winds, some parts of the course are unrowable and the decision has just been made to cancel the event. Gloucester Rowing Club offer their apologies to crews and clubs who have made their way to the event in vain. Race fees will, of course, be refunded.

This years Long Distance Head will take place on Sunday, 1st November over a 7km course along the Gloucester-Sharpness canal and should provide a great warm up for the Tideway Fours Head as well as a good test of the state early winter training. Eighteen crews competed from all sections of the boat club in the Evesham Senior Head race on Saturday, 29th November. Eleven wins were recorded including three course records.
