Senior Race Fees Account It is unfair to expect the Captain to pay entry fees from their own account and then chase members for repayment. A race fees account will greatly reduce the Captain's work but must be properly and visibly managed I have run the Junior squad race fees account for the last 12 months and have the process sorted out. The 2006 final accounts are available at the club and can be shown to anyone who is interested. Signatories on the account will be The Treasurer (Rachael Britnell) and Chairman, so that either can write cheques. This is how it will operate: Races The captain will give me crew lists one week before entries close for an event. I will debit each individuals account for their races and for petrol money. Anyone without sufficient credit will not be entered and I will pass this information back to the Captain . A cheque will be provided for the event or to refund whoever paid for online entries by credit card. Petrol money will be credited to the towing members account or paid by cheque as requested. If you wish to pay for other crew members then it must be clear on the crew list. This will allow one member to collect all entry fees for their crew and write a single cheque to the race fees account if required. I must receive this cheque before I receive the crew list. After each event I will publish current balances on the web site and at the club. I will email full account statements to you on request. Deposits I will provide a box on the bar for you to make payments to the race fees account. Options in order of preference are:
I will credit your account as soon as I receive the cheque or notification of the transfer or deposit. Cheques will be paid in regularly. Notes
