Netheridge Bridge

The New Canal Cut at Netheridge, which was opened on 27th April 2006, has smoothed out the very sharp Z bend at 2 Mile Cut – the first bend as you head from the Club house towards Wycliffe or as you return from Sims bridge to the Club House. Take a look at this helpful guide to not hitting or scratching the bridge.

From the Committee

See this link for details and dates of the new club house rota and there is a note on subscriptions in the committee page

Evesham and Wallingford Regattas

Well done to all the Gloucester crews who competed over the weekend, there were some fine performances. See here for some photos of exploits at Evesham and to Big Blade for Wallingford.

Project Oarsome

A new project oarsome course begins on Thursday, 18th May 2006. So if you or your child is in Year 7 at school and want to know how to get started with rowing, then click here for more details.

Cotswolds Bike Ride 2006

Try this for a bit of cross training. The 16th Cotswold Bike Ride takes place on 21st May 2006 and there would seem to be a number from the boat club signed up to take part. Fourty miles of undulating cotswold countryside and all in a good cause - irresistable!

Curry Night - Friday, 12 May

Don't forget the curry night taking place next Friday, at the boat house. The cost is £10 per head, so please let Mukund know if you want to take part.
